On Monday 11th March our lovely 14 year old bengal cat Juneaux was put to sleep here after suddenly becoming very unwell and in a lot of pain. I'd like to mention the vet Rachel who was so kind and caring with both us and Juneaux when the time came to say goodbye. She gave us time, privacy, and the way she held, touched, and spoke to Juneaux was so sweet. She even let us leave from the back door so we didnt have to walk through reception afterwards. It was an awful experience to lose our sweet little cat, but Rachel was so compassionate, that we can look back on the experience in a positive way. Don't recommend it at all for multiple reasons. Brought my rabbit in a few years ago after he had a stroke. They examined him and gave him an injection. Literally 20 minutes later, he had a seizure, and he passed away. They killed my beloved rabbit. I now have dogs that have allergies. We have seen multiple vets at the surgery who all say different things when we come in. We had a test done on one of our dogs through the surgery, and nothing came back. We recently went private for an allergy test, and the results were shocking. It turned out that they were both allergic to the things ribble vets said they came back negative to. This cost us at least £300, to which the private test only costed £150. Disgusting vets, they care only about the money and not the animals welfare. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I'd recommend moving to rufford vets, they do everything on site including samples. They actually want to save you money and give you the best advice, unlike ribble who would charge £200 first to send off some tests.

All of our dogs are registered here including our two bulldogs . The vets Sarah and Cara are just amazing with them. Never had any issues and always quick to get us an appointment when needed. Thank you so much .

I have to say I am a bit annoyed with what you have done recently. We called you for our boy's meds and you said you would send them. For the last 3-4 days i have been waiting for the meds and nothing came through. So my husband called the clinic today and even though we have a rolling contract and even though you said you were sending the meda, someone decided to delay sending the meds until we got to the anniversary. Such a thing to think about whilst we are waiting for meds and such a job to miss the rolling contract and wait for the anniversary. I just didn't like the thought behind this.

Things don’t add up and it seems to be about making money. My dog went in 5 weeks ago with an ear infection. £75 later we got told to return the week after. The second week, we went back and again another £75 and told to return the week after as my dog may need an op to clear the infection. £280 later and one op complete we were asked to return a week later for a check up. Again, another £75 of antibiotics and told to come back. This week we’ve been told she needs another £75 of antibiotics plus an ear wash- she had an operation to do this, but told it’s one we can do at home. Then told my dog needs another £600 op to have teeth removed. Well, why was this flagged now when she’s already had an operation where her teeth would have been visible. Used to trust this vets but now will not be returning. I fully believe they are just scamming people and all 1 stars seem to involve ear problems.

I attended the practice yesterday for the first time with my two labradors, I was delighted with the professionalism, knowledge and communion I received from Lydia. My dogs were treated expertly and confidently, I'm happy to recommend Lydia and the practice.

I recently visited this practice as my working springer spaniel puppies (9 of them) needed microchipping etc. Anna is a fantastic vet provided a great service and all the reception team are wonderful and pleasant. This is a fantastic vets wouldn’t hesitate to use them again a truly professional setup that offer a wide range of services. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

I started using the vets a while ago as did my daughter. She recently had to rush her pup here following an incident at home. We had a very worrying 24 hours when they kept her in overnight but can't thank the staff enough for the care and attention. Without their help it could have been a very different story.

Exceptional service. Would highly recommend. Vet Phil Masse was Super!We are a small holding and unfortunately needed an emergency call-out to our Cow 'Sage' recently. Phil was with us quickly, was very knowledgeable and very caring. Great lovely manner. Sage is 100% better now and only here today because of Phil's and Ribble Vets quick actions.
