I have never had to arrange a funeral before and I honestly believe, I don’t think I would have been able to arrange my daughter’s father’s funeral, if it wasn’t for Emma. Not only was Emma highly professional she showed the utmost respect, unconditional empathy and understanding throughout. I can honestly say I felt like Emma was a close friend helping another friend through a hard time, had the time to check I was ok and will spend time speaking to me and that itself was beyond comforting and speaks volumes. At times I felt like I couldn’t get through certain things but Emma made sure I could, with her added support. Emma made all the hard things, seem so straightforward and took all the burden of the hard tasks and was always at the end of the phone, whenever needed. She treated my ex partner with the utmost dignity, respect and unconditional care and also cared about making sure their/our final wishes could take place. Although I hope not to have to use Emma’s services any time soon, I just know if I do, I will be in safe hands. I’ll forever be grateful for Emma and her services.

I am certain that I couldn't have got through my dad's passing and the associated arrangements without Emma, and am writing this review in the hope that she is able to support many others in what is always a terribly difficult time. Emma treated my dad with the utmost dignity and respect, which was such a comfort to us. I suppose that is the job of a funeral director, but what really made Emma stand out was her compassion and warmth. Knowing she was on the end of the phone for any and every question meant the world to us. Her support and professionalism meant that we were able to do the absolute best for my dad, and I am beyond grateful for that.

From the first contact Emma was extremely helpful, and continued to be so throughout. I was totally inexperienced in these matters and Emma explained everything patiently and compassionately. We had used Emma for a family funeral last year and Emma remembered family members names which really impressed me. Emma is absolutely lovely to deal with and very professional. After my dad passed away unexpectedly and we had a really difficult experience with the previous funeral directors me and my family didn’t see much hope for a professional, seamless funeral. We contacted Emma last minute as she was close to where a family member works in Penwortham. From the second we contacted her we just knew it was the right decision to move funeral directors and let Emma deal with the mess that had been made. The support, care and professionalism Emma showed during this process was unmatched, we have the upmost respect for Emma taking over and taking the biggest weight off our shoulders. The funeral was absolutely perfect and she catered for a non religious man (my dad) perfectly. She recommended a humanist that would speak on behalf of dad and lead the service. His name was David, we highly recommend David for humanist services as the personal touch he gave to my dad was emotional. We all felt closer to dad during the service and we knew it would of been exactly what dad wanted. We really cannot thank Emma and her professionalism enough. There was not one bad thing we could say about her. Amazing, thank-you from the bottom of our hearts.
